Pengertian dan Contoh Procedure Text

Procedure text - Pernahkah anda melihat sebuah paragraph tentang cara melakukan sesuatu di dalam kemasan makanan, minuman atau bahkan alat-alat elektronik yang anda beli? Dalam bahasa inggris, paragraf seperti itu disebut Procedure text. Dari namanya saja kalian tentunya sudah tau bahwa Procedure Text merupakan teks yang berisi prosedur untuk melakukan sesuatu.

Secara umum disebutkan bahwa procedure text adalah teks yang memaparkan proses melakukan sesuatu. Dikatakan pula bahwa procedure text merupakan rangkaian dari tahapan dalam melakukan sebuah tindakan dengan tujuan menginformasikan terbentuknya sesuatu. Procedure text merupakan bentuk teks paling sederhana yang biasanya disebut semi-paragraf, karena biasanya dituliskan dalam rentang antara kalimat dan paragraf.

Berikut 5 contoh procedure text :

1. HOW TO MAKE A CUP OF COFFEE

MATERIALS  AND INGEDIENTS :
 - 2 spoons of sugar
 - one spoon of coffee powder
 - hot water
 - a cup
 - a spoon

PROCEDURE :
1.  Prepare two spoons of sugar, a cup, hot water, one spoon of coffee powder, a spoon.
2. Put one spoon of coffee powder into the cup.
3. Pour some hot water into the cup.
4. Add 2 spoons of sugar into a cup of coffee
5. Stir it well and the hot coffee is ready to drink

2. HOW TO MAKE NASI UDUK

INGREDIENTS :
- 2 cups of rice
- 2 cups of coconut milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pandan leaf
- 1 jeruk purut leaf
- 1 salam leaf
- 1 lemon grass

UTENSILS :
- pan
- big pot
- steamer
- rice paddle

COOKING METHOD :
1. Cook the coconut milk with all the other ingredients except the rice.
2. Meanwhile, wash the rice in another big pot.
3. When the coconut milk comes to a boil, pour it in the pot filled with rice and stir frequently until all the liquid is absorbed.
4. Move the rice to a steamer until it is cooked.
5. Take out the leaves before serving.

PRESENTATION :
1. Serve hot on a platter with shredded omelet and a mixture of fried peanuts and fried onions.
2. Garnish the platter with sliced cucumber, tomato and green leaves. This recipe makes 4 servings.

3. HOW TO CHARGE HAND PHONE BATTERY

Prepare your :
- hand phone
- battery charger


Steps :
Connect the charger to your hand phone, the flash symbol on the charger plug must face upward.
Wait until the battery icon appears on the screen.

4. HOW TO MAKE FRIED RICE

INGREDIENTS :
- a plate of rice
- 1 red chili pepper chopped
- 1 clove garlic chopped fine
- 1 clove chopped onion
- pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp margarine
- 2 tbsp soya sauce
 
COOKING METHOD :
1. Crush the red pepper, garlic and onion until very fine.
2. Add the salt and saute in margarine over low heat for 2 minutes.
3. Add the rice and soya sauce
5. Stir until well mixed and rice is hot.

PRESENTATION :
1. Serve hot on a plate.
2. Garnish with shredded omelet and sliced cucumber and tomatoes.

5. HOW TO OPERATE A FAN

Plug the power cord into a wall outlet. (AC 120 Volts 60 HZ)
To make the fan move sideways, push the pin on top of the motor.
To move the fan up or down, first pull up the oscilla ting pin, then press the tilt adjustment knob.
To change the speed of the fan, press one of the switches at the bottom.
